About Me

Hi! My name is Mrs. Karin Chaney. My family is from Wisconsin, but we lived in Illinois, Ohio, and Texas before coming back to Wisconsin my junior year in high school. I graduated from Neenah High School.  I am a UW-Oshkosh graduate. I taught special education for 5 years and 1st/2nd grade for 5 years at Hoover. This is my 14th year teaching 3rd grade at Spring Road. There has been a lot of changes in education in the last 24 years! I have been married to my husband Brad for 27 years. We have 3 boys. Drew who is 24, is married to Dana. Trace is 22 and going to school. Blade is 12 and goes to Shattuck. I have one dog, Cramer and a "granddog" Louis. I enjoy watching and cheering my children on with the sports that they play. Drew and Trace play hockey for the Ice Dogs. Blade plays soccer for the Neenah Strikeforce and hockey for the Fox Valley Blades. I also love watching students (present and former) play different sports and cheering them on too!
