In literacy, we are starting our next unit called Information Experts. We will be reading and learning about non-fiction books.
In math, we are starting a new unit as well. Ask your child who their math teacher is for this unit. We will be focusing on multiplication and division.
We will not have a spelling test this week, but your child will bring home the words to practice. The test will be on Wednesday, November 2. The high frequency words to work on are: important, form, food, keep.
We are working on publishing one personal narrative of your child's choice. We will have our writing celebration on Monday, Oct. 31. The students will share their writing in small groups.
I look forward to meeting with all of you on Wednesday or Thursday. If you can't make the time that you are scheduled, please call me or the office.
