We are wrapping up some things this week and next in math, literacy, and writing.
In math, we will be taking Unit 1 pretest on Wednesday. We will review Unit 4 on Thursday and take the post test on Friday.
In writing, we are finishing our personal narratives this week and they will choose which story they want to publish.
In literacy, we are wrapping up Caring About Characters this week as well with some different character trait activities.
This week our high frequency spelling words are: asked, don't, going, world.
Thank you Mrs. Zehner and Mrs. Burt for donating snacks to our class!

Next week there will be some special Red Ribbon (Drug Awareness) Week activities planned.

Monday, October 24: “Sock it to Drugs!” - Crazy or Mismatched Sock Day

Tuesday, October 25: “Don’t get ‘Tied Up’ with Drugs!” - Wear a tie and/or dress in tie-dye.

Wednesday, October 26: “Use your head - Don’t do Drugs!” - Crazy Hair Day  

Thursday, October 27: “Heave Ho… Just Say No!”  - Pirate Dress-Up
